Information we may collect :
For restaurant reservations, you will be asked to provide a name and a contact number in order to complete the reservation, as you usually would be when making a reservation over the phone. In addition, you will be asked to provide an email address. RESERVATIONS.SG will use this email address to send you verification, confirmation, modification, cancellation, No-Show messages. Unregistered Users cannot earn ResPoints but can choose to store your information in your computer cookie. (Cookies are pieces of information that your browser stores on your computer's hard drive which identify you when you enter.)
If you choose to Connect to RESERVATIONS.SG (become a Registered User) via your FACEBOOK Account, your personal information as allowed by FACEBOOK will be transferred to RESERVATIONS.SG. The personal information we transfer includes (but is not limited) to the following :
Your contact number can be saved in your profile settings. These information helps to facilitate your reservation and assist us to personalize your online experience.
Our server logs also automatically collect information, such as your IP address, your browser type and language, and the date and time of your visit, which helps us track users' movements around our site and understand trends.
Information accessible to Restaurants
When you make a restaurant reservation, your name and telephone number are provided to that restaurant, just as would occur if you were making a reservation over the phone. Your email address is not provided to that restaurant unless you check the 'Subscribe to restaurant email' checkbox.
How We Use Your Information
We may use information provided by you to:
- create and manage your Site account,
- provide the restaurant with your name and contact number for your reservation,
- facilitate rewards fulfillment,
- contact you for customer service or to respond to your requests,
- automatically send you emails with regards to your reservation,
- automatically send you a reminder of your reservation if your reservation was made more than 72 hours prior to the reservation time, and
- automatically send you an email thanking you for your reservation and inquiring if you experienced any customer service issues.
Release of Information
In the event of a business merger or acquisition, your information will be acquired by the successor company.
